The Qatar GP has been the protagonist of many controversies towards the organization after the clinical conditions of the drivers during and after the race. However, the FIA met the day after the incident to find a solution and avoid a recurrence of such situations.

The risks of dehydration during the Grand Prix are not new: it is always important for drivers to maintain an adequate water balance; In Qatar, however, the situation was certainly particular because of temperatures up to 32ºC accompanied by humidity levels that reached 80%. It was precisely this data that brought the drivers to the conditions that defined the race as one of the toughest ever.

The FIA immediately took action to prevent similar events from happening again and it seems that the right path has already been found. The Federation has in fact declared that it will adopt all that is necessary in order to avoid endangering the driver's health or compromising it. A medical committee is already set in Paris which will check the commitment of the FIA to work with doctors and both technical and safety departments in order to find solutions to change the air flow inside the passenger compartment of the cars.

A drafting of guidelines for competitors, will be made as well as a change to the calendar: the dates will be chosen according to the climatic conditions of the territory so that these are not a danger to the health of athletes and professionals; the change of the date for this specific Grand Prix for next year has already been made, in fact, it will start on December 1st in conditions that should not affect the well-being of the drivers.
